About Gruve

Gruve is an innovative software services startup dedicated to transforming enterprises to AI powerhouses. We specialize in cybersecurity, customer experience, cloud infrastructure, and advanced technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs). Our mission is to assist our customers in their business strategies utilizing their data to make more intelligent decisions. As a well-funded early-stage startup, Gruve offers a dynamic environment with strong customer and partner networks.

About the Role
Gruve is seeking an experienced and results-driven Cybersecurity Account Manager to join our sales team. In this role, you will build and expand strategic customer relationships, drive revenue growth across cybersecurity software and services, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating an increasingly complex threat landscape. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of selling SaaS-based cybersecurity solutions, with hands-on success selling CrowdStrike or comparable endpoint/cloud security platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management & Relationship Building: Build and maintain excellent relationships with strategic accounts, understanding their business objectives and security needs to position Gruve as a trusted long-term partner.
  • New Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and target accounts through prospecting, networking, and consultative selling.
  • Solution Selling: Develop and present strong value propositions for cybersecurity software and services, including SaaS-based security platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike), Security Operations Services, SOC Services, Identity Management Solutions, and Security Operations Automation.
  • Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the complete sales cycle — from lead qualification and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close — following a structured, repeatable sales process.
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management: Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in the CRM system, and provide regular reporting on account status, opportunities, and revenue projections.
  • Market & Competitive Insight: Stay current on cybersecurity industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging threats in order to advise customers and refine sales strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales Development, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Delivery teams to align on account strategy, lead generation, and successful customer onboarding.
  • Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual quota targets for new bookings, renewals, and account growth.
Basic Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience selling SaaS-based cybersecurity software solutions, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong, hands-on experience selling CrowdStrike solutions (or comparable SaaS-based endpoint/cloud security platforms) is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of security frameworks, client security needs, and the evolving threat landscape.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical aptitude to understand and clearly communicate how cybersecurity products and solutions solve business problems.
  • Proven ability to identify problems, analyze data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions.
  • Strong network of security professionals and customers within the cybersecurity industry.
  • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and experience with sales automation tools.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and with a high degree of self-direction.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in English.
