Cyber security is no longer just a technical challenge. It is essential to protect critical infrastructure, enabling the energy transition, securing maritime operations, building trust in digital services, and helping societies become more resilient.
At DNV, our purpose is to safeguard life, property, and the environment. For more than 160 years, we have combined deep technical expertise with independent insight to help customers make confident decisions in a complex and fast-changing world. Today, our work connects more than 15,000 colleagues across more than 100 countries, helping organizations manage risk, build resilience, and navigate complex technological and societal challenges.
As a Cyber Trainee, you will become part of a mission-driven cyber community working to protect what matters most. You will learn from experienced specialists, contribute to real customer projects, and develop the skills needed to become one of the next generation of cyber professionals.
Cyber threats are evolving rapidly, and resilience has become a decisive factor for businesses, governments, and critical infrastructure worldwide.
At DNV, our Cyber Security teams help customers understand, prevent, and respond to cyber risks. We combine expertise in IT, operational technology (OT), industrial control systems (ICS), risk management, compliance, and industry-specific knowledge to help customers secure their operations and build trust in a digital world.
Whether you are interested in security testing, cyber resilience, risk advisory, industrial cyber security, cloud security, AI-related risks, digital forensics, or regulatory compliance, the trainee programme is designed to help you explore different paths and build a strong foundation for your future career.
The DNV Cyber Trainee Programme is an 18-month development programme, individually tailored to help you build the right competence for your future role in DNV. You will be a permanent employee from day one, while benefiting from structured learning, mentoring, and practical experience across our cyber business.
You will not be expected to know everything from day one. What matters most is your curiosity, motivation to learn, and desire to contribute to meaningful work.
