ETRM in its capacity as Second Line of Defense (SLOD) is responsible for leadership, oversight, monitoring, and advisement around the technologies, architecture, operational processes, security, and resiliency
Who we are looking for
As a representative of the ETRM group, you will be amid State Street’s multi-year technology transformation journey, regulatory requirements and technology risk assurance programs of various Business Units within State Street. The candidate will closely work with the global ETRM team leads and other cross functional teams such as First Line of Defense (FLoD), Technology divisions (Global Technology Services - GTS, Global Cybersecurity Services - GCS etc.) and Third Line of Defense (TLoD). The position is based out of Hyderabad, India
What you will be responsible for
As Associate Vice President, ETRM you will
Lead and participate in cyber & technology risk assessments, testing and validation activities
Collaborate closely with global peers to provide enhanced monitoring in the cyber and technology risk domains such as infra/ network / data security and application security
Collaborate with ETRM risk professionals to align with the broader Enterprise / Operational Risk Management Programs and mandates at global level
Evaluate IT Security risks arising from control inefficiencies
Develop effective communication channels for measuring and escalating technology risk exposure
Provide technical leadership, manage, mentor, and guide a team of Technology Risk Consultants, helping them grow professionally and achieve their individual and team goals
Prepare presentations for Management, Risk committees and Board meetings
Work closely with leadership and executive stakeholders, providing status updates, managing timelines, and identifying risks
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the technology organization
Stay UpToDate on cyber and technology risks, changes in the regulatory environment

Primary Skills (Must Have)
Minimum 10 - 12 years of recent related work experience in risk management, cyber security, or technology-related governance
Knowledge of Cyber and Cloud technologies and security tools
Experience in evaluating cyber and information security risks and the ability to develop and execute effective testing strategies
Audit or assurance experience working in the banking or financial services industry or other regulated industries
Understanding of the MITRE Framework and adversarial methodologies
Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and intergroup skills
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Graduate in Computer Engineering (preferably BE / B TECH / MCA)
Minimum 15+ years of experience in information technology with 10 - 12 years of relevant experience in Cyber and Information Security, Cloud and Emerging Technologies
Experience with Microsoft Tools/Data Analytics/GRC tools/Jira is a plus
Proven ability to work effectively on global scale with all levels of management
Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CCSP, CISSP, CRISC) are a plus
