Job Description

CharteredPartners is seeking an experienced cyber and technology risk professional to join our client in Singapore at Director level. The successful candidate will lead technology risk, cyber and IT audit advisory delivery, build the practice's technical capability, and contribute to origination across regulated and listed clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cyber risk, technology risk and IT internal audit engagements across financial services, technology and critical-infrastructure clients.
  • Advise regulated institutions on the MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines and associated cyber hygiene and outsourcing expectations.
  • Direct assessments against ISO 27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and COBIT, translating findings into board-level remediation roadmaps.
  • Oversee cloud security, identity and access, third-party and operational technology risk reviews.
  • Support clients on obligations arising under the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore regime, including critical information infrastructure expectations.
  • Originate and convert new engagements, building relationships with chief information security officers, chief technology officers and audit committees.
  • Develop the firm's cyber and technology risk methodology, tooling and specialist team.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A recognised credential such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM or CIA, supported by a strong technical foundation.
  • At least ten to twelve years in technology risk, cyber security or IT audit, including senior advisory delivery.
  • Deep command of ISO 27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and COBIT.
  • Practical knowledge of the MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines and related outsourcing and resilience expectations.
  • Familiarity with the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore regime and critical information infrastructure obligations.
  • Experience auditing cloud, identity, application and operational technology environments.
  • Working knowledge of PDPA data-protection obligations as they intersect with security controls.
  • A record of leading technical teams and managing concurrent engagements to budget and quality.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and the ability to translate technical risk for non-technical boards.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to SOX IT general controls testing for US-listed entities.
  • Experience with security operations, threat-led penetration testing or red-team oversight.
  • Familiarity with emerging risks in artificial intelligence governance and data analytics.
  • A track record of origination or material business development contribution.
  • Active standing within ISACA, IIA Singapore or the regional cyber community.
  • Experience integrating continuous controls monitoring and automation into delivery.

Compensation:

Competitive package commensurate with seniority and experience, including base, performance-based bonus, long-term incentives and (where applicable) partner-track participation.
