Hiring: Cyber Security Transition & Operations Lead
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Onsite)

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Transition & Operations Lead to join a dynamic team in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing global security operations teams, leading transition projects, and engaging directly with executive stakeholders including CISOs and CIOs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead security operations and transition activities across onshore and offshore teams
Manage end-to-end transition planning, execution, governance, and delivery
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer leadership and escalations
Conduct proactive threat and compromise analysis using frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain
Drive incident response activities, root cause analysis, and remediation planning
Prepare operational reports, dashboards, KPIs, and SLA tracking metrics
Lead enhancement initiatives and ensure seamless handover to steady-state operations
Coordinate with Security Operations, IAM, Infrastructure, and Integration teams
Represent the organization in executive steering committees and customer governance meetings
Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and operational improvements
Required Experience & Skills:
10+ years of experience in Cyber Security and Information Security Operations
Strong leadership experience managing global teams across multiple geographies
Proven experience working directly with executive stakeholders (CISO/CIO level)
Expertise in Security Incident Response Lifecycle
Strong understanding of Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience managing operational support and enhancement projects

Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to support critical cybersecurity incidents outside standard business hours
Willingness to travel when required
Strong executive reporting and presentation skills
