Do you want to secure critical industrial operations where cyber security directly impacts safety, production, and sustainability?
As a Cyber Security Engineer at Boliden, you will design and implement robust security solutions, reduce vulnerabilities, and safeguard both IT and OT environments. You will help ensure that production-critical systems are resilient, reliable, and built for the future.
We look forward to receiving your application!
Your opportunity
In this role, you will lead engineering- and architecture-driven risk reduction across complex IT and OT environments, with ownership of the vulnerability management capability and its evolution across tools, processes, and architecture.
You will translate threat and vulnerability insights into architectural patterns, hardening strategies, and risk-based remediation roadmaps. Working closely with IT, OT, and business stakeholders, you will influence decisions and ensure security is embedded by design across initiatives and projects.
As a key partner in cross-functional delivery, you will help steer initiatives from a security engineering perspective—balancing technical depth, pragmatism, and scalability—while collaborating with adjacent functions such as incident response, SOC, and threat intelligence.
Who you will work with
You will report to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and play a key role within Boliden’s Group-wide security function, contributing to safeguarding our operations, people, and sustainable future through robust IT and information security.
The position is preferably based in Boliden but can also be located at any of our operational sites. Regular travel to sites will be required, along with occasional visits to other Boliden locations. Remote work may be considered.
