Job Description

Talent Pooling / Expression of Interest

As a Security SME, your Netskope experience will play a key role in designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting a Netskope project within a complex enterprise environment.

This is a potential 3-4 month contract opportunity for a Netskope Specialist to join one of The Missing Link's clients within the government and education industry.

Working closely with customers, technical teams, architects, and cybersecurity specialists, you will be responsible for delivering secure privileged access management solutions that align with security best practices and regulatory requirements.

This contract role provides an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale cybersecurity engagements while developing your expertise within one of Australia's leading government and education organisations.

As we continue to grow our Cyber Security Practice, we are seeking an experienced Netskope Engineer to join our team and support enterprise customers in strengthening their Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Netskope architecture and design workshops.
  • Develop enterprise-wide SSE and Zero Trust roadmaps.
  • Provide technical leadership for complex deployments and migrations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and security analysts.
  • Drive security posture improvements through policy optimisation and automation.
  • Act as the technical escalation point for major incidents and complex security challenges.

Requirements

About You

You are a technically strong cybersecurity professional with deep Netskope expertise and experience delivering enterprise-scale security solutions.

You possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills and are comfortable working with architects, engineers, project teams and executive stakeholders to deliver secure outcomes.

You are proactive, customer-focused and passionate about helping organisations adopt modern cloud security and Zero Trust principles.

Skills & Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Proven experience implementing and supporting Netskope solutions within large enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Netskope Secure Service Edge (SSE).
  • Experience configuring and supporting:
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust and SASE/SSE architectures.
  • Experience deploying and managing Netskope clients across enterprise environments.
  • Experience integrating Netskope with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access and Microsoft security technologies.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, proxy technologies, routing and SSL inspection.
  • Experience working within enterprise cybersecurity environments.
  • Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex security, cloud and network issues.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or a related security-focused role.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing Netskope Secure Service Edge (SSE) solutions, including web security, cloud security, data protection and zero-trust access controls.
  • Strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft 365 Security, Azure Security Services, SIEM platforms, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Secure Service Edge (SSE) technologies.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing and optimising security controls within complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve threat detection, incident response and overall security posture through technical security initiatives.

Desirable

  • Netskope Certified Administrator or other Netskope certifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel and Intune.
  • Experience with CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Prisma, Zscaler or other SSE technologies.
  • Cloud security experience across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python or APIs.
  • Knowledge of ACSC Essential Eight, NIST, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AZ-500, Security+, or Microsoft Security certifications.
