Location: Katowice - 2 days office / 3 days remote

EY’s Cybersecurity Practice functions as a center of excellence to assist our consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle initiatives along with providing expertise in leading practices, methods, and resources in the space of Cybersecurity. The Data Protection & Privacy competency within the Cybersecurity practice is a critical competency that supports our clients across all industry sectors.

Your key responsibilities

As a Consultant in the Data Protection & Privacy competency, you will help clients define business and technical requirements for data privacy solutions, design privacy operating models, and transform existing processes and architectures to deliver more efficient and scalable solutions.

In this role, you will act as a OneTrust Subject Matter Expert, supporting clients in the design, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of privacy technology solutions. You will work closely with business, privacy, and IT teams to translate regulatory and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions within the OneTrust platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, configuring, and maintaining solutions across various OneTrust modules, including UCPM Consent Management, Cookie Consent, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA/DPIA), Data Mapping, Privacy Rights Automation, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), and related platform capabilities,
  • Acting as a technical expert during architecture reviews, solution design sessions, knowledge-sharing meetings and requirements-gathering activities,
  • Collaborating with IT teams to design, implement, and maintain integrations between OneTrust and internal and external systems,
  • Analyzing and resolving day-to-day challenges raised by client stakeholders and recommending effective and sustainable solutions,
  • Developing and maintaining system documentation, configuration standards, architecture diagrams, testing documentation, and operational procedures,
  • Monitoring platform performance and identifying opportunities for process automation, optimization, and continuous improvement,
  • Staying up to date with OneTrust product releases, privacy regulations, and industry best practices, and assessing their applicability for client environments.

You may also be engaged in implementation and development of other processes and technologies to deliver leading data privacy capabilities.

  • Logical thinking, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing business and technical requirements,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation and stakeholder presentations,
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, monitor risks, and consistently deliver high-quality client services,
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with client personnel at various organizational levels.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Privacy, Data Protection, Risk, Compliance, or Privacy Technology,
  • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in OneTrust administration, configuration, and solution delivery. Practical experience with at least one of the following OneTrust modules: PIA/DPIA Automation, Data Mapping, Privacy Rights Automation, Consent Management, Cookie Compliance, Privacy Notice Management, TPRM, Risk Management, or Compliance Automation,
  • Experience conducting OneTrust architecture reviews, solution assessments, and platform optimization initiatives,
  • Experience collaborating with OneTrust Support and product teams to troubleshoot technical issues, request product enhancements, and resolve complex configuration challenges,
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure to meet project deadlines,
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills,
  • Fluency in English (minimum C1 level).

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • OneTrust Expert Certificates,
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Apache Freemarker, Python,
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and backlog management,
  • Experience with REST APIs, API documentation, Postman, and integration testing,
  • Experience in acceptance criteria drafting, test scenarios preparation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT),
  • Experience creating architecture diagrams, technical standards, configuration guidelines, and system documentation.
  • Certifications related to Data Privacy, such as CDPSE, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, and CIPT.
