We are looking for engineers to join the Digital Ship Systems team in DNV Maritime’s Ship Classification.

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will contribute to the development and implementation of cyber security requirements for ships and offshore units, support certification and approval activities, and participate in shaping the future standards for cyber security in the maritime industry.
You will report to the Head of Section Digital Ship Systems.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Digital Ship Systems team, you will:
Develop and maintain DNV rules, standards, and services related to maritime cyber security.
Perform approval of cyber security documentation for newbuilding and conversion projects.
Participate in certification and type approval of systems, components, and solutions used onboard vessels and offshore units.
Conduct assessments and surveys on ships and at manufacturers' premises.
Provide technical support to DNV's global fleet-in-service organization as a second-line technical expert.
Contribute to the development of new services, methodologies, and digital solutions within maritime cyber security.
Collaborate with ship owners, shipyards, equipment manufacturers, flag administrations, and industry stakeholders.
Support industry adoption of emerging technologies, including connected and autonomous vessel solutions.
Some travel should be expected as part of the role.
