We’relooking for a Cyber Risk Analystto join our Cyber Security and IT Risk team. This role focuses on performing cyber risk assessments, supporting governance and compliance initiatives, and helping strengthen Anglicare’s security posture across people,processesand technology. Workingwith the Cyber Risk and Threat team and their processes, you will helpidentifyand mitigate cyberrisks, andcontribute to the protection of Anglicare’s critical systems and digital assets.

Your opportunity

The Cyber Risk Analyst playsan important rolein supporting Anglicare’s cyber security governance, riskmanagementand compliance activities. You will work across the organisation to conduct risk assessments,monitorcompliance with security frameworks and policies, and provide insights that help strengthen cyber resilience and reduce organisational risk.

Working with the Cyber Risk & Threat team,you will collaborate with Cyber Security, ITArchitectureand business stakeholders to support governance frameworks, threat modellingactivitiesand risk mitigation programs. Through your work, you will help ensure Anglicaremaintainsa secure and resilient technology environment that supports its mission and operations.


With ownership, you will:

Conduct cyber security, operational and compliance risk assessments toidentifyrisks,vulnerabilitiesand areas for improvement. You will support riskaudit activitiesandrisk mitigationas well asmonitor compliance with security policies and standardsacross the organisation. You willassistwith threat modellingand risk mitigation activities, whileworking with the team in accordancetotheir processes,toproducehigh-quality reports and documentation that support informed decision-making and strong cyber security governance outcomes.

What you’ll bring

You are a cyber security and risk professional with experience in governance,complianceand risk management practices. You have a strong understanding of cyber security principles, risk assessmentmethodologiesand industry frameworks, and enjoyidentifyingrisks andworking with teamstomitigate issuesthat improve organisational security and resilience.

You combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are collaborative, detail-orientedand proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and staying informed aboutemergingthreats, evolving regulations and industry best practices.

You will also need:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Cyber Security, RiskManagementor a related field. Certifications such as CRISC, CISM or ISO 27001 are highly desirable.
• 3+ years’ experience in cyber security, risk management,governanceor compliance-related roles.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, supporting risk mitigationinitiativesand contributing to governance programs.
• Knowledge of cyber security and governance frameworks such as SCF, NIST and ISO 27001.
• Understanding of Australian regulatory and compliance requirements and industry standards.
• Experience with threat modelling and secure design principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and risk assessment capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and contribute to organisation-wide cyber security initiatives.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
