In this role, you'll:


The Cyber Officer supports the delivery and continuous improvement of cyber defence, risk, and business continuity services across the organisation. The role contributes to research, analysis, monitoring, reporting, and documentation while collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen business continuity and cyber practices whilst reducing technology risks. It requires balancing multiple priorities and maintaining awareness of the evolving cyber security landscape.

About you

The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret information and support decision-making. They are well-organised, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, and bring a foundational understanding of cyber security or risk, supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong organisational, coordination, and documentation capabilities.

  • Experience working in Agile environments and delivery teams.

  • Experience supporting project delivery, reporting, and governance activities.

  • Understanding of cyber security, project delivery methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Experience using collaboration and project management tools such as Jira and SharePoint.

Desirable Skills

  • Exposure to process mapping, Customer Journey mapping and Power BI.
