Job Description

The Intelligence Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Technical Lead, Digital Exam Management to work in our Linthicum, MD location. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the customer mission. In this mission we provide comprehensive operational, analytical, technical, forensic, and program management support to customer operations.

Primary Responsibilities.

The Technical Lead, Digital Exam Management provides management, direction, business operations support, quality control, and leadership of Contractor personnel supporting the CFL. As Chief, you provide direct management and technical oversight of all activities performed by the forensic examination personnel. Your daily activities include assigning cases, managing the team of forensic analysts, performing technical peer review of forensic reports, and ensuring all tasks are accomplished in accordance with customer requirements. You are responsible for the quality and efficiency of the team's performance, to include supporting all aspects of the laboratory's ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation such as SOP development, internal audits, and quality assurance procedures.

Basic Qualifications.

The successful candidate will have:

  • TS/SCI clearance eligible

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience

  • Possession of at least one of the following active certifications: GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), DC3 Cyber Training Academy Digital Forensic Examiner (DFE), or equivalent.

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of hands-on experience in conducting host-based forensic examinations across multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five years in a leadership or supervisory role, responsible for managing a team of forensic analysts, assigning cases, and performing technical peer review of forensic reports.

  • Demonstrated experience within the last three years supporting an accredited forensics lab, including experience with SOP development, internal audits, and quality assurance procedures.

Preferred Qualifications.

  • Experience supporting digital forensics with DoD/DoW, Intelligence, Security and/or Law Enforcement organizations.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
