Job Description
We are seeking an Events & Engagement Specialist II to assist with the planning and execution of small to medium scale events, overseeing logistics, and vendor relationships, collaborating with cross-functional teams and enhancing attendee experiences. The role also engages with attendees and gathers feedback to improve future events, assists with community engagement and sponsorship efforts in support of brand awareness and company goals, and contributes to the design and implementation of engagement strategies.
This position is available onsite, at our League City, TX office.
What You'll Do:
• Assist with the the planning and execution of small to medium scale events, overseeing logistics and vendor relationships, collaborating with cross functional teams, and enhancing attendee experiences.
• Writes proposals for small to medium events.
• Responsible for decisions such as food, beverage, gifts and giveaways within budgets, dates and times of events, gathering and directing volunteers.
• Engages with attendees and gathers feedback for use to improve future events.
• Assists with community engagement and sponsorship efforts in support of brand awareness and company goals.
• Contributes to the design and implementation of engagement strategies.
• Provides direction to Communications and Design teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns and supporting collateral as needed.
• Assists with the development and maintenance of a calendar of events, including engagement and sponsorship activities.
• Assists with the maintenance of sponsorship and vendor relationships. Acts as point of contact for vendors on small to medium scale events.
• Supports team members (e.g. Sr Events & Engagement Specialist, and Manager, Events & Engagement) as needed.
What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor's degree.
• Two to four years of experience of experience leading the planning, coordination, and execution of employee engagement events, sponsorship management, and small- to large-scale event programs.
• Additional Qualifications:
◦ Related experience preferred; professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
