Your Role

As a CX Cloud Solution Architect, you are responsible for designing and governing end‑to‑end solution architectures for complex enterprise environments. You work at the intersection of business, technology and delivery, translating requirements into robust, scalable and cloud‑native solutions.

Depending on your background and expertise, you may contribute to both core cloud transformation initiatives and digital experience platforms within Capgemini’s DCX domain.

You act as a trusted technical advisor for clients, guide delivery teams and ensure architectural coherence across systems, platforms and teams.

What you'll do

• Design end‑to‑end architectures for enterprise applications and platforms
• Translate business and functional needs into secure, scalable solutions
• Apply cloud‑native principles across infrastructure, platforms and apps
• Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns and guardrails
• Act as architectural authority throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Architect and govern Digital Experience platforms (CMS, headless, composable)
• Design large‑scale DCX solutions using platforms like Adobe Experience Manager
• Build e‑commerce and omnichannel ecosystems across frontend, backend and cloud
• Define API‑first and Backend‑for‑Frontend (BFF) architectures
• Align UX, product and engineering teams around experience and technology
• Ensure high performance, security, scalability and evolvability
• Embed AI capabilities into digital products and platforms
• Use spec‑driven development to improve quality and delivery speed
• Leverage managed AI services and foundation models (e.g. Amazon Bedrock)
• Bridge business and technical teams, coach developers, and support pre‑sales

Your profile

Required skills

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Cloud Architect or similar role in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and cloud‑native architecture principles
• Experience designing distributed, API‑based and integration‑heavy systems.
• Affinity with or experience in digital platforms, such as CMS, e‑commerce or customer portals.
• Familiarity with modern frontend architectures and integration patterns is a strong plus.
• Interest in or experience with AI‑enabled software development and platform automation.
• Strong communication skills, able to engage with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in multi‑team, enterprise and client‑facing environments.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Service).
• Experience with e‑commerce architecture or omnichannel platforms.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud‑native AI services or platform‑level AI integration.
• Relevant cloud or architecture certifications.
