The CVT I assists physician with direct patient care during catheterization or interventional procedures in the scrub, circulator, and monitor positions. Delivers quality service through a team-oriented, collaborative approach to care for adult and geriatric patients. provides direct assistance to physicians and patient to achieve optimum outcomes. Prepares patient and technically advanced equipment for advanced invasive procedures.
The CVT I
Education: Graduate of an Allied Health Profession program required.
Experience: None.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Radiologic Technologist, Registered RT(R), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required. RCIS, RT(R)(CI), or RCES preferred. Radiologic Technologists must maintain registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Respiratory Care Practitioners must maintain licensure through the Virginia State Board of Medicine or credentialing through the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Life Support: Must have AHA BLS-Provider and AHA ACLS certification and maintain current status.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills required.

Compensation Range:
$30.47 - $45.71
Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
