As a Registered Nurse in the CVPCU, you will provide essential care to patients with heart disease, cardiovascular complications, and other life-threatening conditions requiring intensive monitoring. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cardiac Monitoring Use advanced telemetry equipment to monitor patients ECG and heart rate data.
• Critical Care Assess and respond to cardiac emergencies in a progressive care setting, ensuring appropriate interventions.
• Collaboration Work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care plans for cardiac patients
• Patient Education Provide guidance on heart health, lifestyle changes, and post-surgical care
• Documentation & Communication Accurately document patient progress and changes, and effectively communicate with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Education Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, AD, or BSN).
• Licenses/Certifications
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• CPR-BLS certification (required)
• ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (required before completion of orientation).
• Experience Open to new graduates and experienced nurses
• Skills
• Knowledge of cardiovascular nursing and ability to interpret telemetry data.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain professional standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
