We are currently looking for a Cutting Labourer to join our team in Montreal

As a Cutting Labourer, you will be directly involved in our recycling operations by cutting metal plates and pieces using an oxy-fuel cutting torch You will primarily work in the field, in an industrial environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are essential.

What you will be responsible for :

  • Inspect equipment and the cutting torch before starting the shift;
  • Cut metal pieces and plates according to the instructions provided;
  • Handle and move materials required for operations;
  • Strictly follow health and safety procedures;
  • Keep your work area clean and safe;
  • Report any equipment issues, damage, or unsafe situations to your supervisor;
  • Work with the team and perform other related manual tasks as needed.

Qualifications

To join our team :

  • You are comfortable with manual and physical work;
  • You have a good ability to learn and are willing to be trained on the use of the cutting torch;
  • You have experience using cutting tools or with oxy-fuel cutting ( asset);
  • You are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, summer and winter;
  • You are in good physical condition and able to perform repetitive manual tasks;
  • You place a strong emphasis on health and safety at work;
  • You are reliable, conscientious, resourceful, and able to work as part of a team;
  • You demonstrate good judgment and attention to safety in an industrial environment.
