Job Description

Perform a variety of tasks in the assembly process of the blade.

Roles and Responsibilities:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS

• May work with a variety of chemicals or come in contact with chemicals. Must wear the appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety instructions and dispose of chemicals appropriately.

• Take out stay bolts from the ring on the root of the blade.

  Certified employees use crane to remove ring and put in designated cart.

• Clean up inside the blade after working.

• Insert plugs into bushings around the root to avoid dust in the bushing.

• Apply ‘Danger Confined Space’ signs to the root of the blade.

  Two individuals place donut inside the blade utilizing sika

• Certified employees’ utilization of the sika machine.

• Use of hand tools/scraper to even out sika that is applied to the edge of the donut.

• Certified root grinder utilize crane to place root grinding machine onto the root of the blade.

• May use the following tools:

  o Vacuum

  o Soap and Water mixture.

  o Acetone and Alcohol

  o Rackets for donut placement

  Air bags

ESSENTIAL

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Detail oriented to accurately setup and operate machine according to engineering specifications
• Excellent communication skills for communicating with shift leadership and coworkers
• Possess mechanical aptitude

• Basic math skills

• Ability to operate basic hand tools

• Ability to operate power tools

• Ability to operate heavy machinery

• Computer literacy

  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications :

• 6 months of manufacturing experience
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
