Join Maersk as a Customs Expert Team Leader

Are you an experienced logistics and customs professional with a proven track record of leading teams? Maersk is looking for a Customs Expert Team Leader to oversee customs operations, drive compliance, and lead a high-performing team in a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customs Experts, ensuring operational excellence and high performance.

• Manage day-to-day customs operations, setting priorities and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

• Ensure compliance with international customs regulations governing the import, export, transit, storage, and movement of goods.

• Provide technical guidance and support on complex customs matters and operational challenges.

• Evaluate and implement effective solutions while maintaining compliance with customs procedures and company policies.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices across the customs operation.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in logistics, leading operational teams in a logistics, customs, freight forwarding, or supply chain environment.

• Strong experience in customs operations, international trade, or customs brokerage.

• Solid understanding of international customs regulations, trade compliance, and customs procedures.

• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and people management skills.

• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
