Job Description

· Assists with the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls for

customs brokerage

· Works with the sales department to develop client-specific procedures for all clients but

especially with the on boarding of new clients.

· Manage the Crane Customs Bond relationship with bond vendors, set up bonds as

needed

· Lead the CFS set ups for new CFS spaces with the CWW branch and Customs

· responsible for accounting reconciliation reporting, intra-company A/R, and assist with

accounting related issues as required

· Provide training to employees involved in brokerage related activities

· Plan, organize, schedule and lead the audit activities of the brokerage department.

· Document audit findings and prepare reports with recommendations for presentation to

senior management.

· Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and processes to

make the brokerage process more efficient.

· Analyze critical issues, trends, and root causes, and identify solutions that best address

issues as needed.

· Production of recurrent or ad hoc reports, metrics, and presentations for senior

management.
