Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Carry out internal and/or external PO management and customs clearance activities;
  • Monitor the customer's order with the supplier, in order to guarantee customs clearance of the cargo;
  • Perform customs clearance of cargo, aiming to serve the customer within the expected deadline;
  • Maintain relationships with partners and/or suppliers, aiming for customer satisfaction, quality and agility in customs operations;
  • Ensure the opening of import and export processes, in all necessary computerized systems used by CRANE, rigorously analyzing the shipping documentation received, aiming to meet all legal requirements for customs clearance;
  • Monitor the shipment of cargo coming from abroad so that customs clearance takes place quickly;
  • Analyze and suggest tariff classifications for products to be imported or exported;
  • Issue calculations regarding actual values and/or estimates of taxes, fees, fines, expenses involved in import and/or export processes;
  • Actively exercise, autonomously, in the processes of issuing and checking DI, DSI, LI, LSI, DA, DTA, rectifications, petitions, Terms of Responsibility, RE, DE, SD, DSE, ACC, ACE, Certificate of Origin, Ata Carnet, contracting and settlement of exchange, aiming to quickly enable customs clearance.
  • Monitor the approval of LI with the consenting bodies (Anvisa, Ibama, ANP and Ministry of the Army);
  • Monitor the deadlines granted by Public Bodies for atypical import and export processes;Perform services relating to atypical import and export processes, such as: used material, special deposits, temporary admission, drawback, among others;
  • Control of deadlines for goods admitted to special regimes.
  • Monitor processes through the systems: Federal Revenue: MANTRA/SISCOMEX/VICOMEX/ E-CAC and others, perhaps, used in Comex;
  • Maintain standard deadlines and costs for carrying out customs clearances;
  • Ensure the collection of taxes, merchant shipping and other mandatory fees and expenses for the release of cargo;
  • Intense follow-up with the customer/suppliers used in the customs clearance processes;
  • Perform services relating to the opening of Radar, powers of attorney and documentation required for customs clearance;
  • Answer questions from customers and suppliers, including questions regarding billing;
  • Collaborate so that billing takes place in a timely manner, in accordance with company policy;
  • Archive all documentation of import and export processes in accordance with legal regulations and company policy;
  • Completing all follow-up reports with accurate information, responding in real time;
  • Prepare reports on critical processes.

Other Skills/Abilities:

Education and experience

  • Customs Broker registration desirable
