As a customs and export control classification specialist, you help ensure ASML can deliver its advanced technology worldwide in a compliant way. You play an important role in enabling global trade while meeting international regulations. Working in a global team across three continents, your work supports a reliable and compliant supply chain—one of ASML’s core values and key to meeting customer commitments.
In this role, you apply your expertise in customs and export control classification to support daily operations and continuous improvement. You act as a trusted partner for internal stakeholders and help translate regulations into practical solutions. You will be part of a global centralized team based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, with colleagues in Korea and the United States.

To thrive in this job, you’ll need the following skills:
The ASML business requires a 24/7 support in relation to classification. This full service level will be realized by the team in the Netherlands, Korea and the US, in combination with a backup call-center team to cover the out of office hours outside the NL, KR and US business hours. The working hours of the classification specialist will be during regular business hours, but could require incidentally to be standby during the evening or the weekend.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
