Job Description

ArcelorMittal Rails & Special Sections operates three production facilities in Europe and offers a wide portfolio of products: supplying rails for railways, subways, trams, light tracks, crossings, crane rails and rail components. We also supply special products such as cathode bars, track shoes and mining sections. To strengthen our CTS team, we are looking for a motivated Customer Technical Support Specialist who is eager to grow in a technical‑commercial environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and compilation of technical documentation required for the new Long Electric Arc Furnace LEAF rail homologations and renewals
  • Coordinate customer visits, inspections, factory acceptance testing FAT, and audits, ensuring smooth communication and planning towards different departments and customer
  • Follow up on rail stock availability and support internal coordination for product allocation and stock reduction
  • Collect and compile test results and inspection reports for customer presentations and technical dispatch folders
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team on technical specifications, enquiries, orders and contract reviews
  • Manage claim handling back‑office tasks registration, documentation, analysis in internal local systems, CRM updates, and credit/debit note preparation
  • Work cross‑functionally with mill, supply chain, quality and sales to ensure excellent customer service

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is motivated to learn, enjoys working with technical topics, and wants to grow into a customer‑facing role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field
  • A customer‑oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams (mills, supply chain, quality, sales)
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to take initiative, and comfort working in dynamic situations
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to quickly understand technical issues
  • Good communication skills and a team‑oriented approach
  • Strong time‑management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
