GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) is a full-service engine overhaul and repair station located at Helsinki International Airport in Vantaa, Finland, specializing in both heavy maintenance and light repairs (SPAH) for General Electric and CFM International engines.

We are looking for a Customer Support Trainee to join our Customer Support team for this summer. The team is responsible for customer support & project management of jet engine repairs, assisting with shop visit financial optimization, invoicing, status reporting and customer visits.

Successful candidate in this role should have a technical mindset to be able to learn technical aspects of turbine engine technology and repair processes; enjoy working with culturally diverse customers based in different locations around the globe; communicate effectively on all levels of organization; be structured and able to successfully coordinate several projects simultaneously with a good eye for detail.

Your main responsibilities:
  • Supporting Customer Support Account managers with customer communication
  • Supporting Customer Support Account managers with status report preparation
  • Communication with internal stakeholders on engine repair status
  • Coordinating customer visits on site as necessary
  • Coordinating engine part shipments
  • Supporting invoicing and collection activities

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer service/support preferably in business to business environment
  • Customer focused mindset and a service attitude
  • Proactive team player
  • Ability to understand and work with culturally diverse customers
  • Attention to detail & organized way of working
  • Proficiency with MS Office Programs
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
