Salary Range: $14.07 - $14.50 Hourly

Job Category: Entry LevelResponsible for maintenance of consumer records, ensuring compliance with HIPPA & confidentiality rules and regulations.

Duties involve but are not limited to

• compiling and checking documents for accuracy
• transporting documents
• maintaining files
• answers inquiries regarding policies and procedures
• assists the public and staff in filling out forms for records request
• files and maintains supplies, forms and records
• may perform data entry and retrieval
• may deliver, pick up, or receive documents, supplies, mail, equipment, or materials
• check for quantity and quality
• make arrangements for repairs and services
• Performs related work as assigned.

Qualifications

• Good typing skills required
• Good spelling skills required
• Some experience in medical records
• Bookkeeping skills preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Have high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Must have a Texas driver’s license
• Must have a good driving record for the past 3 years

PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, lift at least 25 lbs, reach over head, and sit for an extended period of time.
