The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Customer Support Service Specialist (Mid-Level or Lead) to support the Guidance Subsystem Support Contract (GuSSC) program in Hill Air Force Base, UT or Layton, UT. Boeing Defense and Space Systems is growing in the area of aircraft, missile, weapons, and autonomous system guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) system design, development, integration, and test.

The InterContinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Minuteman III Guidance Engineering team is looking for motivated, talented individuals to join this robust long-term program. The candidate supports sustainment operating as the PFAS and PADS Labs Manager. The key to this position is the ability to keep equipment and labs in an operational ready state.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide PFA Lab (classified) and PADS Lab (unclassified) technical support for maintenance, repair, and preventative measures that ensure continued safe and reliable operations for mission critical software development programs.
• Provide technical support for maintenance, repair, and preventive measures that ensure continued safe and economic operations for customers
• Apply technical knowledge to research, develop, test, and evaluate operations, support programs, modifications, repairs, and technical data
• Communicate design and operational issues and concerns with engineering
• Develop in-service correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment
• Participate in accident investigation team or support team
• Participate in disabled product on-site surveys to assess extent of damage
• Adapt existing test procedures
• Ensure GFE and classified items are tracked, managed, and inventoried

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
• Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
• 5+ years of experience with technical problem resolutions at various levels: component parts, harness subassemblies and assemblies, subsystem and system integration

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

• Experience working with and troubleshooting computers and computing equipment (cables, IO interfaces)
• Experience inspecting, cleaning, and troubleshooting circuit cards
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems
• Cybersecurity experience (access control, user admin control, systems security, and backups)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

Level 3: $82,450-$111,550

Level 4: $104,550-$141,450
