Schedule:
Weekends 12 hours shifts
General Requirements:
Support and coordinates user applications and connectivity for MercyOne Medical Imaging computer systems including but not limited to dictation systems, RIS (Radiology Information Systems) and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems).
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to users on all approved computer applications and hardware.
Coordinates information sharing to RIS/PACS personnel, department management, radiologists, IT and other Medical Imaging information system users.
Maintains ongoing technical expertise on computer products
Performs problem determination and resolution of all aspects. This includes dictation, RIS and PACS systems, as well as procedural problems.
Manage report distribution during system downtime. Facilitate any report clean up after downtime.
Prepare addendums for radiologists.
Assist department staff with error correction including deleting images, merging patient accounts, correcting orders, linking studies and reports, etc.
Take written preliminary reports from radiologists and distribute to appropriate patient care staff.
Assure timely reporting of Critical Results for imaging procedures to ordering provider or appropriate patient care staff.

Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or High School equivalency
Required Licensure and Certifications
Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training for child and dependent adult abuse within three (3) months of hire.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
Two years of experience in a customer service environment.
Two years working in a Medical Imaging environment or other healthcare organization preferred.
Working knowledge of PACS software preferred.
Working knowledge of clinical health care information systems is preferred (patient management, nursing orders, patient account, etc)
