Shift Varied 8-hour shifts

What you will do:

  • Provide support to users on all approved computer applications and hardware.
  • Coordinates information sharing to RIS/PACS personnel, department management, radiologists,ITand other Medical Imaging information system users.
  • Maintains ongoing technicalexpertiseon computer products
  • Performs problem determination and resolution of all aspects. This includes dictation,RISand PACS systems, as well as procedural problems.
  • Manage report distribution during system downtime. Facilitate any report clean up after downtime.
  • Prepare addendums for radiologists.
  • Assistdepartment staff with error correction includingdeletingimages, merging patient accounts, correcting orders,linking studies and reports, etc

​Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or High School equivalency
  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training for child and dependent adult abuse within three (3) months of hire.
  • Two years of experience in a customer service environment
  • Two years workingin a Medical Imaging environment or other healthcare organizationpreferred
  • Working knowledge of PACS softwarepreferred
  • Working knowledge of clinical health care information systems is preferred (patient management, nursing orders, patient account,etc)
