Job Description

At GeoGuessr, we’re more than just a game company. Since 2013, we’ve turned the world into a playground for the curious and knowledge-hungry. Over the last few years, we’ve built an incredible team of over 80 people, all passionate about creating innovative and fun geography games for our dedicated global community. We are now looking for an energetic Customer Service Agent to join us at GeoGuessr!

What you will do:
As a Customer Support Agent you are in the middle of the pulse and passion of our highly engaged players. You assist them in solving problems and ensure that they have a great experience with our game. You will communicate with our customers through their support tickets, collecting more information when needed and providing great service. You create internal support tickets on the customers behalf, and make sure these get handled internally.

Some of your main responsibilities:

  • Customer Support, mostly through Freshdesk, our customer support tool

  • Handling the backlog of customer support tickets, aiming to handle as many as possible by yourself, but otherwise seeking assistance from others throughout the organisation.

  • Helping prioritize and follow up with our users on technical issues and feature requests.

  • Answering Reviews and follow-up on feedback and bugs for our products.

We hope that you bring:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience from working in Customer Service.

  • Proficiency in English, with great writing skills.

  • A passion for delivering a great customer experience.

  • You are motivated by helping others and giving excellent service.

  • You are a self-starter and enjoy a challenge.

It is also nice if you have:

  • Experience or an interest in the game industry.

  • Previous experience with using Freshdesk or similar support tool
