At Highland Spring, delivering great customer service is about much more than getting an order from A to B. It means understanding demand, keeping a close eye on stock, spotting potential issues early and working across the business to make sure our customers get what they need, when they need it.
We’re looking for a Customer Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team at our Blackford site, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in FMCG or supply chain who enjoys working with customers, using data to make decisions and bringing different teams together to deliver a great service.
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day supply chain relationship for key customer accounts, working closely with our Sales, Supply Planning, Demand Planning and logistics teams, as well as directly with customers and our third-party logistics partners.
A big part of your role will be looking ahead. You’ll review customer demand, sales trends, forecasts and stock levels to identify potential issues before they affect service, and work with colleagues across the business to find the right solution.
You’ll also:
You’ll have plenty of opportunity to use your judgement, influence decisions and make a visible difference to both customer service and the wider supply chain.
You’ll already have some experience working within FMCG, ideally within a supply chain environment, and you’ll understand how customer demand, forecasting, stock and availability all connect.
Experience working directly with customers — particularly major retailers — would be a real advantage, as would previous exposure to customer forecasting or demand planning.
You’ll be comfortable working with numbers and data, with intermediate Excel skills and experience using business systems such as ERP platforms. Just as importantly, you’ll be able to turn that information into clear actions and communicate confidently with people across different teams and levels of the business.
You’ll enjoy solving problems, managing competing priorities and taking ownership when something needs attention. There will be busy periods, so being organised, proactive and able to stay focused under pressure will be important.
At Highland Spring, how we work matters.
We’re a Team – you’ll work across Sales, Planning, Logistics and our wider Supply Chain teams, sharing information and working together to get the best outcome.
We’re Proud – you’ll take ownership of your customer accounts, use insight to continuously improve performance and take pride in delivering a great service.
We Care – you’ll build open, respectful relationships with our customers and colleagues, listen to different perspectives and respond quickly when support is needed.
Alongside a competitive salary, you can expect a strong benefits package including 34 days’ holiday, a company pension with employer contributions starting at 5% and rising to 10%, life assurance, access to a confidential Employee Assistance Platform and company sick pay once you’ve completed your first six months with us.
If you’re someone who enjoys working with customers, spotting what’s coming next and turning data into action, this could be a great opportunity to build your career with Highland Spring.
