Small Medium Enterprises and Channel (SME&C) is part of Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS), focused on 400M small and medium enterprise customers. SME&C serves these customers through digital sales managed accounts, field specialist teams, demand response motions, and a broad partner network. The mission of Global Sales Enablement & Operations (GS&O) within SME&C is to accelerate our customers’ AI transformation and growth by delivering global GTM strategy & execution, driving customer success, fostering execution at scale, and transforming SME&C into the world’s leading AI frontier salesforce.

As the Customer Success Unit (CSU) Sales Excellence Manager you will be a strategic partner to CSU and Unified Support sales leadership within SME&C EMEA. Your core responsibilities will be to drive sales & related delivery execution rigor, consumption and usage insights and analysis, and accelerate solution area growth and customer value realization. Whether your segment is Customer or Partner focused, key to the role is the ability to drive actionable outcomes, guide and optimize the sales process Segment and sales leaders. You will cross-collaborate with other roles to forward-looking performance recommendations of your segment. We are looking for an outcome-driven Sales Excellence (SE) to support the SME&C segment's current and forward-looking business goals. You will drive a predictable Rhythm of Business (ROB) with cross-functional teams to ensure quality four-quarter (4Q) rolling business outcomes. You will work with Segment and Sales leaders to instill sales process discipline on pipeline health management, guide Sales Leaders on Microsoft sales methodologies, and collaborate across roles and segments to proactively seek resolution to manage change within your segment.

Responsibilities

The Customer Success Unit (CSU) Sales Excellence Manager will be responsible of:

  1. Pipeline Health & Management
  2. Partner with stakeholders to support predictable revenue and consumption growth across segments and solution areas. Contribute to maintaining pipeline health and aligning sales practices with Microsoft sales methodology standards.
  3. Sales Execution
  4. Foster a culture of sales excellence by supporting consistent execution, governance, and partner insights across Enterprise, Global Partner Solutions, Small, Medium, and Corporate, and Small and Medium Business segments.
  5. Sales Execution Transformation
  6. Help implement and operationalize evolving Microsoft sales strategies, processes, and priorities that enable sustainable growth and strengthen sales performance over time.
  7. Planning Engagement
  8. Collaborate with segment leaders, Finance, and Business and Sales Operations teams on fiscal year planning activities that require sales excellence expertise and support.
  9. Additional Contributions
  10. Take on other related responsibilities and initiatives that support team objectives and business priorities.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • experience with active participation in sales, sales operations/management, account management, program management, business development, marketing, consulting, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience using data to drive business outcomes or inform business decisions.
  • Experience managing relationships with stakeholders, clients, and/or customers.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience in managing projects, including planning, managing timelines, and tracking progress, and/or change management experience.

Sales Excellence IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 80,000.00 - € 151,700.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
