SCOPE:

The Customer Success – HR Technology Solutions Advisor – Talent Suite is part of the Global HRIS team and supports MHIA and its affiliates through the design, configuration, deployment, optimization, governance, and support of enterprise HR technology solutions. The role serves as the primary technical advisor for assigned HR technology capabilities, partnering with business stakeholders to design scalable and sustainable solutions that improve business processes, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities may span multiple HR technology platforms and business capabilities, including HRIS, payroll, talent management, learning, recruiting, integrations, reporting, workflow automation, AI-enabled solutions, and future technologies as organizational needs evolve. The position partners with HR, IT, Corporate Functions, Legal, vendors, and third-party application teams to translate business needs into practical technology solutions while supporting governance, release management, documentation, testing, training, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have at least ten (10) years of progressive HRIS or HR technology experience, including solution design, configuration support, enhancement delivery, issue resolution, testing, documentation, and stakeholder partnership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned HR technology capabilities, leading solution design, configuration, enhancement evaluation, release readiness, optimization, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand business needs, evaluate solution options and trade-offs, and recommend scalable technology solutions aligned with enterprise standards and business objectives.
  • Serve as liaison between affiliates, HR, IT, Corporate Functions, Legal, vendors, and third-party application teams for HR technology initiatives, enhancements, releases, and support activities.
  • Collect and evaluate business requirements, assess system impacts, develop user stories and acceptance criteria, and translate business needs into practical functional and technical solutions.
  • Configure, enhance, optimize, and support HR technology solutions across assigned platforms and business capabilities.
  • Lead the resolution of system, process, support ticket, and user-impacting issues through root-cause analysis, stakeholder coordination, clear ownership, and timely communication.
  • Evaluate platform releases and emerging functionality, assess business impacts, coordinate testing and readiness activities, communicate changes, and recommend adoption where business value exists.
  • Create test scenarios and support validation activities to confirm system changes meet business requirements before release.
  • Prepare and maintain functional specifications, business requirements documentation, process documentation, , and knowledge-transfer resources.
  • Provide training, coaching, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer to, business users, and support teams to improve proficiency, adoption, and effective use of HR technology solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and apply an internal consulting mindset to proactively identify opportunities to improve customer experience and business outcomes through technology.
  • Ensure solutions align with established HRIS governance, security requirements, global design principles, data integrity standards, and compliance obligations.
  • Evaluate AI capabilities, workflow automation, platform enhancements, and emerging HR technologies that may improve employee and administrator experiences or operational efficiency.
  • Support the prioritization and delivery of HRIS initiatives by communicating timeline considerations, dependencies, risks, and business impacts to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate time and effort tracking for customer billing, reporting, capacity planning, and project management, as applicable.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience: At least ten (10) years of progressive HRIS or HR technology experience, including solution design, configuration support, enhancement delivery, issue resolution, testing, documentation, and stakeholder partnership.
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of enterprise HR technology platforms, such as SAP SuccessFactors, UKG, Workday, Oracle HCM, ServiceNow, or similar cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience supporting large, complex HR technology projects, including implementations, platform expansions, enhancements, releases, stabilization, or post-go-live support.
  • Ability to understand the HR technology application portfolio and how platforms, integrations, data, and business processes contribute to daily HR and business operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and present to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority and work across multiple functional disciplines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated customer focus, accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, including advanced Excel capabilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience supporting multiple HR technology platforms, modules, integrations, reporting tools, workflow automation platforms, or AI-enabled business applications.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and related integrations with core HR, payroll, benefits, identity management, or third-party systems.
  • Experience with HRIS governance, security, data integrity, release management, UAT planning, training development, process improvement, or change management initiatives.
  • Experience leading and mentoring HRIS analysts, business users, third-party vendors, consulting partners, offshore resources, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Experience working in a consulting-based or customer-focused delivery model, including tracking and billing time.
  • Relevant HR technology, project management, process improvement, change management, or platform certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Travel: Up to 10% as needed for project meetings, system workshops, training, or business meetings.
  • Standard Monday through Friday work week. Occasional extended hours may be required to meet deadlines, support releases, or address critical business needs.
  • Primarily an office-based role with regular use of a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
  • Regularly required to sit, speak, hear, and move throughout the work area; may occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
