Customer Site Technician-26000349

We are seeking a Customer Site Technician for our Wooster, OH location. This position is responsible for Welding, fabrication, assembly, and service of industrial gas handling equipment. The core focus is in cryogenic freezing.

This position works under general supervision with structured procedures and standards. The candidate will use various skill sets in Welding and the fabrication and assembly of industrial freezing equipment, through standard and semi-custom product lines. In addition, they will travel to customer sites to install the equipment, as well as potential future maintenance on site. This position has an average travel of 12%, but at times may be up to 50%.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Able to read and understand basic manufacturing practices, reading blueprints and electrical schematic diagrams

  • Fabricate weldments from prints

  • Assemble equipment per prints

  • Communicates well with internal and external customers.

  • Must have good business safety acumen.

  • Knowledgeable on TIG welding, plasma cutting and piping assembly.

  • Installation and removal of cryogenic freezers and components.

  • Maintains a clean and well-organized vehicle.

  • Motivated self-starter with a good attitude.

  • Meet key performance goals.

  • Accountable for safe operation of company vehicle.

  • Able to work overtime and weekends as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Stainless steel welding, grinding and polishing.

  • Preferred but not required - TIG & MIG welding certificate or certification.

  • Requires computer proficiency including, but not limited to: Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and smart phones.

  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

  • 1 to 3 years’ experience minimum.

Salary:

Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $55,000-$65,000
