Customer Service / Operations Associate (Part-Time)
Location: Torrance, CA 90502
Schedule: Approximately 29 hours/week (Core hours: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, flexible)
Compensation: $20–21/hour
Employment Type: Part-Time Temp (Potential Full-Time opportunity based on performance after approximately 6 months)
About the Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Customer Service / Operations Associate to support our growing business and newly acquired client accounts. This role plays a key part in ensuring order accuracy and maintaining smooth communication between the office and warehouse teams.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment, pays close attention to detail, and is proactive in identifying and preventing errors.
Responsibilities
- Perform double and triple checks on picked orders to ensure accuracy
- Compare order information against picked products and shipping documents
- Support quality control and inspection processes
- Coordinate with warehouse staff and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Assist with newly launched client accounts and support existing accounts as needed
- Provide operational support for special projects and additional accounts
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Assist with basic administrative tasks using Excel and Word
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
Required
- Previous inventory control, warehouse, logistics, or operations experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse and office teams
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Bilingual Japanese and English
- Experience in customer service or operations support
- Experience working with inventory or fulfillment processes
