🌟 Why You’ll Love This Role
ð The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, high-impact role sitting at the centre of operations. Youâll be the go-to technical expert supporting our Customer Service team, helping diagnose issues, guide solutions, and ensure our customers get the most out of their solar and battery systems.
Youâll work closely with internal teams and external manufacturers, giving you exposure across the full lifecycle of our systems - from troubleshooting and performance monitoring through to warranty and maintenance coordination.
If you enjoy solving problems, working with data, and being the person people rely on when things need fixing - this is the role for you.

Smart Energy was founded to help Australia realise its full solar potential through harnessing our lucky country’s abundance of sun. As a vertically integrated solar technology company, our mission is to save the planet, one roof at a time. We’re reducing the energy costs of Australian households and businesses while improving the nation's green credentials.
In 2016 long-time friends Elliot Hayes and Beau Savage co-founded the company after having worked in Solar since finishing school. In this short time, Smart Energy has grown to more than 200 staff with offices in Byron Bay, Newcastle, Sydney, Hobart, Adelaide, Wollongong, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
We are now one of Australia’s market leaders in solar and currently average more than 100 installations a week.
