We are seeking a Customer Service Team Lead to join our team in the Twin Cities. The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily activities and performance of the Move Coordination team, while also managing a pipeline of their own moves and accounts. This position provides leadership, guidance, and support to Move Coordinators while maintaining accountability for accurate move planning, communication, scheduling, and overall service execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support the daily activities of the Move Coordination team while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and guidance to Move Coordinators
• Provide first layer of response to escalations from customers
• Work directly with the Director of Operations on team development, process improvement, and new initiatives
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members
• Manage their own pipeline of moves while maintaining capacity to assist the team when needed
• Provide account, personnel, and shipment updates to Director of Operations weekly through one on one meetings
• Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required. Secondary education is preferred;
• A minimum of 3 years of customer service experience is required;
• Previous team lead/supervisory experience preferred
• Must be able to demonstrate previous successful experience performing the following key skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products. Knowledge and ability to use typical office equipment (PC, calculator, fax machine, etc.);
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;
• Good oral and written communications skills;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to handle heavy phone work;
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions.
