This role is part of Landis+Gyr’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) business, which is expected to become an independent company under new ownership by mid-2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. We are looking for Team Lead Commercial Operations Prague combines full operational responsibility for customer service and order administration with a focused leadership share of approximately 20%. The role ensures accurate and timely processing of customer orders, coordination of shipments, issue resolution, and maintenance of high‑quality SAP data. Acting under limited supervision, the Team Lead manages complex operational situations, supports customers and internal stakeholders, and ensures consistent application of ComOps processes and standards.

In addition to performing all core tasks of a Customer Service Coordinator, the Team Lead supports team through daily workload coordination, prioritization guidance, and acting as the first operational escalation point. The role enhances team performance by ensuring smooth collaboration, clear communication, and proactive problem‑solving.

YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Interaction

  • Handle customer inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Support issue resolution and communication
  • Provide information on delivery status, pricing, and product availability

Customer Order Processing

  • Validate and process customer orders in SAP
  • Monitor open orders and proactively manage risks
  • Ensure correct invoicing and pricing updates
  • Maintain accurate order and material data

Contract Management

  • Understand contractual obligations and implications
  • Communicate risks or deviations to Account Managers
  • Ensure correct application of agreements in operations

Systems / Processes / Reports

  • Ensure adherence to ComOps processes and documentation
  • Maintain proper archiving of customer correspondence
  • Manage customer complaints including root-cause analysis
  • Ensure warehouse stock aligns with SAP data

Additional Team Lead Responsibilities (20%)

Team Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate daily workload distribution
  • Ensure coverage during absences or peak periods
  • Act as the first operational escalation point

Escalation & Communication

  • Communicate risks, delays, and critical issues proactively
  • Support structured problem-solving
  • Align with ComOps EMEA Lead on priorities

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years relevant experience in customer service / order management, ideally in an international manufacturing environment.
  • Experience coordinating or supporting a team is a strong advantage, but full people management is not required

  • Proven ability to manage complex order flows, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accuracy under time pressure.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and propose practical, data‑driven improvements.

  • Solid understanding of ERP systems (SAP)

  • Proactive, solution‑oriented attitude with a high sense of ownership and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication and social skills
