Job Description

The role:

Independent Cement & Lime's Building Products Supplies business (part of the Adbri Group) manufactures and supplies bagged cement, dry mix and construction products across Australia. We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Sales Administrator to join our small, close-knit team in Glendenning.

As the vital link between our customers, transport providers, and warehouse operations, you'll provide essential administrative and customer service support across three NSW production and dispatch sites – Glendenning, Kembla Grange, and Thornton. You'll manage the full order lifecycle for our bagged products – from initial customer enquiry through to post-delivery reconciliation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing customer orders for NSW bagged products and entering orders into SAP
  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email and keeping customers updated on deliveries
  • Coordinating with transport providers and internal teams to ensure orders are dispatched and delivered
  • Checking proof of deliveries, reconciling paperwork and investigating discrepancies or credit requests
  • Maintaining pallet records and completing associated data entry
  • Supporting production and inventory administration across our NSW sites
  • Checking supplier invoices against receipts and following up any discrepancies
  • Following up outstanding orders, delivery paperwork and transport requirements
  • Supporting stocktakes and investigating stock variances across multiple sites
  • Maintaining driver licence, insurance and induction records for transport providers
  • Raising purchase orders and managing office supply requirements

Hours:

This is a unique opportunity offering genuine work-life balance with early morning starts and your afternoons free! The hours are:

  • Monday & Thursday: 4:00am – 12:00pm
  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 5:00am – 1:00pm

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and enjoys being the person who keeps things moving.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, order processing or a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with data entry
  • Confidence using technology and learning new systems – SAP experience an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence working independently
  • A reliable and mature approach, with the ability to work effectively within a small team
  • Experience in logistics, distribution or transport coordination would be beneficial
