Position Summary
The Youth Apprenticeship Customer Service Representative supports customers, clients, and internal teams by providing professional communication, resolving issues, and delivering accurate information. This role is designed for high school students participating in a Youth Apprenticeship program who want hands-on experience in customer service, business operations, and workplace professionalism.
The apprentice will develop practical skills in communication, problem-solving, teamwork, time management, and business technology while working under the supervision of experienced staff.
Essential Job Duties
- Greet customers professionally in person, by phone, and through email
- Answer customer questions and provide accurate information about products, services, or company procedures
- Assist with handling customer concerns and escalating issues when necessary
- Maintain customer records and update information in company systems
- Process basic transactions, forms, or service requests
- Support scheduling, filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure positive customer experiences
- Follow company policies regarding confidentiality, professionalism, and workplace safety
- Participate in training sessions and mentorship opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Preferred
Qualifications
- Previous volunteer, school, or customer-facing experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
