Job Description

We are looking for motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representatives to join our team in Barranquilla.

In this role, you will support customers through multiple communication channels, with a strong focus on inbound voice interactions. You will help customers resolve questions and issues, provide clear and personalized support, and work toward resolving inquiries during the first interaction whenever possible.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping people, thinks critically, communicates clearly, and can remain calm and professional when handling challenging customer situations.

You will also have opportunities to identify areas where processes can be improved and provide suggestions that can help create a better overall customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide a positive, personalized customer experience across multiple communication channels.
• Handle inbound customer calls professionally and efficiently.
• Respond to customer inquiries through email and web-based chat.
• Help customers with account-related questions and troubleshooting.
• Review customer applications and documentation with strong attention to detail.
• Communicate with customers and third-party suppliers to help ensure a smooth transaction process.
• Work toward first-contact resolution by understanding the customer's needs and identifying appropriate solutions.
• Handle customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and patience.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experiences.
• Work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Learn and use technology and internal systems to support customers effectively.

Compensation

• $6 USD per hour
• Paid weekly, in arrears
• Paid training
• Independent contract position

Important Information

• This is an on-site position in Barranquilla, Colombia.
• Candidates must be available to work from our Barranquilla location.
• The position involves regular customer interaction by telephone, email, and chat.
• Training and onboarding details will be communicated to selected candidates as they are finalized.
• English resumes are required for this role
• Strong English communication skills are essential

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service or other customer-facing experience.
• Previous inbound call or voice customer service experience.
• Experience in e-commerce, online marketplaces, retail, or a similar environment.
• Professional proficiency in an additional language.
• Typing speed of approximately 35 WPM.
