Job Purpose and Impact

The Customer Service Representative will support a moderate scale of customer service activities for a single site team. In this role, you will contribute to optimizing and monitoring shipping and returns, including processing complex orders from customers and resolving order or delivery issues. You are the main point of contact for all customer related queries, including problem solving. Close collaboration with customers and internal parties to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities

  • Process orders timely, monitor order patterns, anticipate demand, understand customer requirements, pro-actively inform customers of delays with deliveries. Work closely together with customers, logistics & scheduling team to ensure the customer’s delivery requirements can be met.
  • Contribute to an efficient payment process by ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, reduce outstanding payment balance by timely follow up on disputed invoices. Process complaints within the relevant system and ensure resolution towards the customer within the given business rules.
  • Run reports & analyze the data. Be able to challenge customers and support sales discussions with customers about their call-off pattern, contract usages and planning deviations.
  • Maintain systems and relationships that meet customer demand forecast, as well as other databases related to shipments and inventory management.
  • Execute customer service strategies.
  • Provide support to improvement projects and commitments requiring a basic understanding of customer service practices and procedures.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Perfect in French, fluent in English and Dutch
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service orientated, be customer driven
