Primary Role
As an Account Management Specialist for North America, you will be responsible for processing orders for customers and/or sales team. You will be the liaison between the customer and/or sales team and the plant/warehouses for order confirmations and delay of orders. You will also complete returns, invoice corrections, answering all questions in regard to orders, and completing all customer’s requests for Solenis North America. Successful candidate able to assess and resolve obstacles with the primary objective of providing the customer with a high quality and responsive experience.
Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions of the Job
Process orders received via E-mail, Phone and/or System Generated - 35%
Follow through with customer / plant order changes - 20%
Identify and process invoice corrections - 15%
Process returns and/or transfer of product - 10%
Complete daily reports to ensure orders are delivered on time and full - 10%
Set up / maintain new customer accounts - 5%
Fulfill expedite requests as needed - 5%
Education
Minimum of High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience
Must have a minimum of two or more years of employment during or post education. Previous Customer Service Experience a plus.
Knowledge
SAP knowledge a plus, skilled in Outlook and Excel
Licensure & Certifications
Travel Requirement
Less than 5%; as required for customer or plant visits and training
General Work Environment
The successful candidate must understand and support Commercial unit, Supply Chain and financial strategies. The candidate will work with all members of the organization to communicate issues and/or needs for orders. Act as the liaison to the organization on matters related to customer orders. A “can do” attitude is highly desired to succeed with customers, sales, leadership and teammates.
Skills: Behavioral & Technical
Communication within all levels of the organization both oral and written; must possess strong interpersonal skills;
Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment with complex business scenarios; strong problem solving skills;
