About the role

We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Housebuilding team. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering exceptional service. In this role, you’ll handle over 60 incoming calls per day or an equivalent volume of emails, ensuring smooth daily operations through effective organisation and prioritisation of your workload. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively as part of a team while also taking ownership of your individual tasks. Building strong relationships with customers will be key to your success in this role. Additional job information:

  • The working hours are between the hours of 07:25 and 17:25. Your specific hours will be determined by a rota based on business needs, with flexibility to swap shifts where required (for example, to cover holidays or sickness). If there are any shift patterns that wouldn't work for you, please let us know in your application.
  • Saturday shift as overtime once probation has been passed. Working 8am – 12pm on a rota basis. Usually 1 Saturday every 4 – 6 weeks and you will have plenty of notice.
  • Working full-time in the office (TF3 3BD) for at least the first 3 months, then the option to work hybrid, 3 days worked in the office and 2 days per week from home on a rota basis.

What we need from you

  • Experience in customer service, whether that be in an office, retail or hospitality.
  • Comfortable with working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • IT Literate, a good ability with Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Good attention to detail to ensure accuracy when placing orders.
