Job Description

We’re seeking a talented Customer Service Representative to join our bustling inbound contact centre. In this role, you will serve as the welcoming voice of Silverchain, dedicated to ensuring every interaction exceeds our clients' expectations.

As the first point of contact, you will manage inbound calls from Silverchain’s clients, care workers and various stakeholders, adeptly handling enquiries and ad-hoc requests with professionalism and timeliness.

Industry experience and/or a passion for community work is highly regarded.

What’s on offer

This is a full-time permanent opportunity, 75 hours per fornight, with working hours scheduled between 8:30am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. While we offer work-from-home options, regular attendance at our NSW Bella Vista office is required; therefore, only Sydney-based candidates will be considered for this role.

Please note: Training for this role is at the Bella Vista Office 8:30am to 5pm for a period of 2 to 4 weeks. Flexible Hybrid Work: After completing the training period, you will work 3 days onsite and 2 days from home each week.

What we’re looking for

To thrive in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Customer service experience (ideally within a call-centre environment)
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Empathy, patience and a solution-focused approach
  • Resilience and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills and experience with CRMs (Salesforce experience is advantageous)
  • Industry experience and/or a passion for community work is highly regarded.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
