Customer Care Representative

Location: Onsite in Daleville, IN

Schedule: Monday-Friday with rotating Saturday coverage

Training: Approximately 2 weeks onsite

About the Role

We are seeking customer-focused Customer Care Representatives to join a fast-paced financial services call center. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, assisting with account questions, transactions, digital banking support, and other service needs.

The ideal candidate has previous high-volume inbound call experience, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems while providing professional and efficient customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Assist customers with account inquiries, balances, transactions, transfers, and other service-related questions.
  • Provide support for online and mobile banking, including password resets and basic troubleshooting.
  • Research and resolve customer concerns while providing accurate and timely solutions.
  • Use active listening and conflict resolution skills to de-escalate challenging customer situations professionally.
  • Navigate multiple systems, screens, and applications simultaneously while assisting customers.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and actions taken within internal systems.
  • Recommend appropriate products and services based on customer needs when applicable.
  • Maintain established call center performance, quality, and customer service standards.
  • Collaborate with onsite team members and leadership to resolve issues and support a positive customer experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and coaching regarding procedures, systems, and service expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably within a high-volume inbound call center.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve customer concerns.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to work across multiple systems and applications simultaneously.
  • Accurate data entry and documentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Comfortable working within a structured, metrics-driven call center environment.
  • Flexibility to participate in rotating Saturday shifts.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screenings and verifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous banking or financial services experience.
  • Experience working in a traditional inbound call center.
  • Familiarity with online or mobile banking platforms.
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven customer service environment.
  • Strong active listening, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Schedule & Training

  • Call center operating hours are 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
  • Most new hires can expect a schedule around 9:30 AM-6:00 PM following training, though schedules may vary depending on business needs.
  • Rotating Saturday coverage is required from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM, with alternate time off provided during the week.
  • Initial training is approximately 2 weeks, typically from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.

Work Environment

  • Fully onsite position in a professional, corporate call center setting.
  • Fast-paced environment focused on inbound customer support, accuracy, and service quality.
  • Work closely with onsite leadership and team members, allowing access to coaching and support throughout the day.
  • Dedicated workstation with frequent use of multiple computer applications and systems.
  • Business casual environment.
  • Onsite café available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Daleville, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
