Job Description

American Concrete Products is a leading manufacturer of quality concrete products for various industries. We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator that will provide operations and customer service support function(s).

Primary Objective: Support Sales with estimates and provide post-sale customer service.

Critical Job Functions:

• Execute the production of estimates, price lists, proposals and solicit vendor quotes in order to bid projects.
• Review and interpret construction documents (plans, specifications) and perform quantity takeoffs for estimates.
• Communicates with Sales, Customers and Engineering Staff to ensure estimates are accurately submitted on deadline.
• Communicates directly with customers about delivery dates, price change orders, add-ons, accessories or new scope.
• Produces accurate bill-of-materials for estimates and/or structures being planned for production.
• Assists with ERP System Part Creation, Sales Order Entry, Part and B.O.M. Maintenance across all sites.
• Follows up on site-direct shipments from vendors, obtains and files Proof of Delivery (P.O.D.) and notifies customers.
• Maintain library of vendor price-lists to ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Answer and return Customer phone calls in a timely manner and handle issues swiftly and professionally.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong analytical/critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in REVU Bluebeam required. AutoCAD/REVIT a major plus but not required.
• Manufacturing, engineering, mechanical and/or electrical control experience a major plus but not required.
• Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Certified Document Technologist (CDT) accreditation a major plus but not required.
• 4-year undergraduate degree a plus but not required. Construction Management degree. a plus, but not required.
• Strong computer experience and knowledge in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Sharepoint.
• Job requires some out-of-town travel to jobsites and plants in other states, less than 10% of the time.
