Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 9:30 AM-6:00 PM

Eastern Carolina Veterinary Medical Center (ECVMC) is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our Specialty team in Wilmington, NC. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service as the first point of contact for patients, clients, and referring veterinary teams.
• Answer high-volume phone calls and route communications appropriately.
• Schedule new patient consultations, follow-up appointments, and specialty visits.
• Coordinate appointment flow across multiple specialty departments and veterinary specialists.
• Assist with patient check-outs and discharges while providing compassionate client support.
• Review, organize, and manage medical records and referral information.
• Communicate appointment details, visit expectations, and care plan information with clients.
• Support specialty teams by maintaining accurate records and efficient front desk operations.
• Provide professional, friendly service both in person and over the phone.
• Collaborate with veterinary teams to ensure a positive client and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary reception, medical reception, or customer service experience preferred
• Specialty or referral veterinary experience is a plus
• Comfortable managing multi-line phones, detailed scheduling, and high-volume client interactions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and veterinary specialists
• Passion for providing exceptional service to pets, clients, and hospital teams
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required

Eastern Carolina Veterinary Medical Center (ECVMC) is a 24/7 emergency and specialty referral hospital serving the North Carolina coastal region. Our hospital provides advanced veterinary care in Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, and Animal Rehabilitation.

Our Specialty teams work alongside experienced veterinarians and utilize advanced technology, including CT scanning, digital radiography, ultrasound, and comprehensive in-house laboratory services.
