Customer Service Representative
Distribution Centre, Ingersoll

Tirecraft is a proudly Canadian owned and operated expert in tires and automotive services. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing Distribution Centre team in Ingersoll. In this role, you’ll be responsible for processing orders, coordinating shipments, handling customer inquiries, and supporting daily operations. We are growing and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of people enthusiastic about the industry.  This is an hourly position with wages ranging from $23.00-$25.00, based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming customer calls and accurately process orders and requests in a timely manner. Enter orders into the Costar system and pick orders with the shipping receiving dock to ensure a timely schedule and delivery.
  • Communicate with customers on back-order status and provide requested information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Accurately enter and process National Accounts as required information into supplier websites to ensure accurate credit is processed. Monitor entries, ensure supplier processes details. Process credits upon receipt to respective customers.
  • Process outgoing less than truck load (LTL) shipments. Enter pickup requests online to respective LTL carriers. Process required documents and provide copies to the shipper/receivers for scheduled pickup.
  • Receive and process incoming supplier shipments in Costar. Verify product quantity and pricing, report any issues to the Distribution Centre/Logistics Manager, and handle discrepancies online to ensure proper credit is issued.
  • Communicate with the Distribution Centre Manager any products that are missing customer pricing, ensure proper pricing levels are established.
  • Communicate with the Distribution Centre Manager any in demand product but not on order.
  • Process day ends in Costar when necessary to back fill for vacations.

Qualifications
 
  • Previous customer service experience within a distribution or manufacturing facility
  • Previous experience with passenger, commercial, agricultural, and off road tires
  • Valid driver’s license and clean abstract
  • Organized with keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Passionate about customer service
