What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma, GED, or work equivalent
  • 1+ year of related work experience, preferably in a customer service role
  • Automotive industry experience a plus (not required)
  • Comfortable using computers
  • Friendly, professional, and calm under pressure
  • Reliable, organized, and team-oriented

Your Role

  • Greet all customers in a timely and professional manner, whether on the phone or when they walk in the door
  • Answer inbound calls within 2 rings, and relay messages to the recipient immediately when a question can't be answered directly
  • Answer customer questions accurately and to the best of your ability
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude with all customers at all times
  • Have customers complete the information sheet with the required personal and insurance details, then enter it into the computer and let the Estimator know the customer is waiting
  • Set up any customer-requested tows and coordinate closely with the Estimator
  • Start and organize customer files, complete tow sheets and other needed documents, and hand them to the Estimator
  • Document and collect all payments when a vehicle is ready to be delivered back to the customer
  • Organize the front office daily to keep the space presentable for customers
  • Order office supplies as needed for employee use
  • Organize and maintain the company calendar to ensure enough Estimator coverage for customer estimates
  • Coordinate rentals through Enterprise, Hertz, or another provider so the vehicle is ready when the customer needs it
  • Stay calm and professional when assisting customers in distress
