Typical weekly hours range from 40 - 45 hours per week; with occasional Saturdays.Overtime is common but not guaranteed. Employees must be flexible and able to adjust their schedule to meet seasonal demands and operational needs.

Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates for our Customer Service Representative position in Kentland, Indiana. The successful candidate will be a motivated, safety conscious individual with good multi-tasking skills to operate our Truck Scale system, take customer orders, and dispatch trucks. They will perform general clerical duties in accordance with established procedures, daily data entry, requiring some judgement in the selection and interpretation of data.

Job Requirements:

  • Provide friendly, professional, and thorough customer service
  • Answer customer calls
  • Take and input customer orders
  • Dispatch products and material for delivery
  • Assist in processing paperwork for corporate accounting systems such as payable, payroll, etc.
  • Assist sales staff with customer service responsibilities
  • May be called upon at the discretion of Managers to perform other duties

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screens, and subject to random drug screens while employed by RGI
